Hannah Epple
Hannah began her dance training at Altoona Dance Theatre, studying under distinguished guest teachers Deborah Anthony and Cheri Noble. She continued her education at Allegheny Ballet Theatre with Anthony and Noble, as well as Connor Weigand, Jennifer Bryan, and Brandon Porter. During this time, she performed in various ballet productions including The Nutcracker, Rodeo, Firebird, and Cinderella.
She has trained extensively in a variety of dance styles, including ballet, pointe, modern, contemporary, and jazz. Hannah also attended prestigious summer intensives, including the Boston Ballet School's Summer Dance Program and Carolina Ballet Summer Intensive. In 2017, Hannah continued dancing at the collegiate level through the renowned Alonzo King LINES Ballet BFA program at Dominican University of California, where she trained under Alonzo King, Christian Burns, Joanna Berman, and other esteemed faculty. Her studies included ballet, various modern techniques and improv and choreography, whilst performing works by former company members and acclaimed choreographers such as Gregory Dawson and Carmen Rozestraten.
During the summers, Hannah danced with Boundless Bodies Ballet Company under Connor Weigand in State College, PA, where she also taught ballet classes. She also volunteered with JUNTOS Collective in Guatemala, performing across schools and hospitals while leading dance workshops for children. After her sophomore year, Hannah relocated to London, UK, transferring to a degree in Anthropology while continuing dancing at Pineapple Dance Studios with renowned instructors including Isabella McGuire Mayes and Raymond Chai.
She has recently returned to Central PA and is excited to be sharing her passion for dance with the students of Nittany Ballet.
